Has anybody ever seen the movie, “Pay It Forward?” I love the whole idea of that movie and lately, with all the bad economic news and depressing stories of families struggling to make ends meet, I feel a need to help. Now I know it’s not much for a family that is having a hard time but I would like to offer a free photo session along with some free prints for a family in need.
For any of you that read my blog, if you know someone in my area that is a having a hard Christmas this year….send me an email with their contact information and why you are nominating them. I will pick a family and hopefully I can add a little bit of happiness to their holiday season.
On a side note: For any of you that haven’t heard Faith Hill’s new Christmas song, please CHECK IT OUT!! It is amazing. It’s called “A Baby Changes Everything.” Amazing!

Digital scrapbooking is actually what got me into photography. I have been so focused on photography lately that I haven’t posted any digi-pages for quite some time. So I felt the need to share some of my faves over the past few months.
I have 2 sessions lined up for this weekend but the local news is not telling me what I want to hear as far as the weather goes. I’m soooo not ready for cold weather.
Here are some of my faves:
These two gave me a good workout, I can’t imagine how exhausted the parents must be having two little boys so close in age. Although, I’m sure it is totally worth it!! It’s always fun for me when I win the kids over by the end of the session. Most times, the kids are pretty unsure of me at first. I seem to have that effect on most people…..haha.
It was a challenge for me with the sun poking in and out of the clouds. Every time the sun went behind the clouds, I had to find a different spot. I wish I could always know exactly what this dang Colorado weather was going to do!!!
Thanks B & H, your kids were adorable!!
TFL!

It took my sister and my brother-in-law, me and my husband to keep Noah entertained long enough to do this quick photo session. It always amazes me how a few good pictures can make you forget how hard it was to catch those few smiles.
That precious nephew of mine definitely has a mind of his own so we had to start getting creative to keep him from taking off.
Always a challenge, always a bigger reward…man that kiddo can take some good pictures, he must get that from his parents.
