faster and faster every time that I see him (which is pretty often)! It continually amazes me how much he changes in just a matter of weeks, even days!! Full of character and personality even since he was tiny, it just gets more entertaining as he gets bigger. He let me go crazy with his hair and then we bundled him up to have some fun taking pictures.
We started in the front yard, then we went in the garage where Noah was super excited to take a picture with Uncle Brad in the “red truck” as Noah says. Then we went down to the park in the wagon and saw some horses. I couldn’t believe how quickly the horses came over to check Brad and Noah out. It made for a fun vintage shot!!
Here’s……..Noah!!

I felt very honored to take pictures for these two friends (and their children). One of them has been fighting a battle with cancer. She seemed like such a strong person, it was a very humbling experience for me.
Thank you for asking me, it was an honor.
Thanks to everyone who participated in my poll (in the post below). It was so interesting seeing where everyone checks in from!!

and oh so cute!! Meet Ben, he was so much fun. He couldn’t stop jumping around, not sure if he was having that much fun too or if he was just trying to stay warm. HAHA, love it!!
I hope that everyone had a wonderful Christmas!! I’m trying to get myself pumped up mentally to stay up past 12:00 for New Years now. I’m not much of a night owl so we’ll see how this goes. Seems like I’m going to bed earlier and earlier every year.

to share pictures from this photo session!! These 3 were a blast, taking pictures of sisters is always fun. I just give them a vague idea or two and let them run with it. The result, 3 different interpretations that all blend into one fun shot!! Here are a few of my faves…..
Thanks girls, hope mom and dad liked ‘em!!

4 years, 2 years, and 5 months, Dad & Mom definitely have their hands full! Aren’t they just the most adorable family though and ohhhhhh…..so much fun too. I was expecting it to be much more difficult trying to get 3 children so young to cooperate but everything went so smoothly, LOVE IT!! This family was just the sweetest, thank you guys so much!

Once a year I convince Brad to get dressed up so we can take our annual Christmas card pictures.
So we got cleaned up, brought the dogs along, found a good quiet road and set up the tripod. But about every time we’d get all set to say “cheese”, we’d see a vehicle coming down the road so we’d pack everything up and Brad would pull the pick-up over to the side of the road. The looks on people’s faces as they drove by, trying to figure out what the heck we were doing, was priceless.
We only had take to take a few shots and amazingly, almost every one of them turned out. Even the dogs were cooperating!! Gotta love a mini-session like that!!
FYI: I did play around with some new post processing on most of these. Always fun to try something new!!

Aren’t they adorable, mom and daughter!!! This is “A” and little “A,” friends of mine!! We had a great time just walking around, towards the end, little “A” got to pick where we went. I took pictures of them right at a year ago and it just amazes me how much little “A” has grown up. Every time I’d ask her if she wanted to try this….she’d say, “sure.” It was just too cute!!!

I was supposed to take pictures of my sister and her roommate but her roommate got sick so I had the great idea that we should just take pictures of each other. Bad idea Audrey….getting home and going from viewing a picture of “H” to a picture of me, not a huge confidence booster.
Okay, enough of that….my husband hates when I talk like that.
We drove around, trying to find some new places. I feel like I’m stuck in a rut. I’ve got just a few locations that I really like.
So here she is again (yes AGAIN) folks. The sister that’ll pose for pictures any day of the week…and a few of me just because….

It’s been about a year since I took little “C’s” pictures and though I’m not quite sure as to whether or not he remembered me, he was much more shy than the last time we met.
There are ups and downs to every session with kiddos this age. Typically, if they’re super bubbly, they’re often also full of energy and trying to get a still-shot can be a challenge. For “C,” my challenge was trying to get a smile but the great thing was that he wasn’t running around much so I had time to wait for one.
I tend to see the glass 1/2 full!!
Meet “C” and his sweet parents!!
It was like watching my family with my nephew. One kiddo and everyone just can’t get enough of ‘em. That was this family and it was so much fun to watch them all just love on her. And what a cutie pie little “H” was!! Blonde hair, blue eyes…..just too cute!! She was soooo good during the whole session, but when she said we were done, well….we finished up fast!
She was definitely grandpa’s girl though. Once he showed up, it was all about him!
TFL!!!
