I don’t normally take on weddings but after taking pictures for “S” twice already, I was happy to do it!! The wedding was beautiful, located at a botanical gardens that I didn’t even know existed. In fact, I don’t think anyone knew it existed before Saturday. What a beautiful place, full of trees, paths, plant life, ponds, etc.
I was a nervous wreck though, it’s my nature. I usually stick to all natural light outdoors so using my flash was a challenge (part of the reason that weddings make me so nervous). But there was a lot of light mixed with shade coming through all the trees so I had no choice. For the most part, my flash worked quite well.
It was late in the afternoon but still a little warm. I don’t know if it was the heat or the nervousness but I was sweating to the point of pure embarrassment. Note to self: if I ever take on another wedding, I’d bringing someone to wipe my forehead. 
I have to give a huge thanks to Brad (the hubby) for helping me out so much. I don’t think I could’ve done it without him. He helps me stay organized, carries most of my equipment, gives me posing ideas when I’m braindead, love that guy!!!

What a sweet couple!! And….I just loved how easy going they both were. Sometimes, the guys have a hard time enjoying taking pictures but he was trying his hardest, despite a cold.
It was good to see you again “C.” Congratulations on your engagement!!!

It took my sister and my brother-in-law, me and my husband to keep Noah entertained long enough to do this quick photo session. It always amazes me how a few good pictures can make you forget how hard it was to catch those few smiles. That precious nephew of mine definitely has a mind of his own so we had to start getting creative to keep him from taking off. Always a challenge, always a bigger reward…man that kiddo can take some good pictures, he must get that from his parents.
